Rosneft to build $545m oil refinery in Chechnya

Oil company Rosneft has announced plans to build a $545m oil refinery in the Republic of Chechnya, news agency RIA Novosti.

The refinery is reportedly to be built at premises of Sheripov plant in Zavodsky district in Grozny city.

The plants projected annual capacity is 1 million tons of oil.

Construction is scheduled to start in 2011 and last two years.
