Construction of the Sakhalin – Khabarovsk – Vladivostok gas pipeline will be completed in late 2011, Gazprom said today.

According to company president Alexei Miller, the projected capacity of the gas pipeline is 30 billion cu. m of gas.

The pipeline will reportedly help supply gas to most consumers in Khabarovsk, Primorsky, Evreiskaya and Sakhalin regions.

Mid-term, gas will be supplied from the Sakhalin-1 gas and oil project operated by Exxon Neftegas, the Gazprom president said.
