Khingan’s tin auction annulled, more envisioned

16 Feb '09
A tinny ore auction at Khingan Tin in Evreiskaya Autonomous Region has been canceled, news agency REGNUM reported today, citing local newspaper Birobidzhan Zvezda.

Potential bidders reportedly expressed no interest in lots.

However, auction organizers claim they won’t cancel other auctions in the region’s capital city of Birobidzhan, the source reported.

In 2009, talc, magnesite and zeolite auctions are envisioned, and potential bidders, including international ones, are already being listed.
