The Primorsky regional branch of the Federal Antimonopoly Service has brought charges against petroleum product supplier RN-Vostoknefteprodukt, Interfax reported today, citing sources in the Service.
The company is allegedly monopolizing the regional automotive fuel market, the sources said.
RN-Vostoknefteprodukt has reportedly been buying fuel at wholesale prices, which are much lower than those paid by its local competitor, Primornefteprodukt.
However, the firm has been selling fuel at prices comparable to those of Primornefteprodukt, the sources said.
RN-Vostoknefteprodukt runs a network of seven subsidiaries selling petroleum products in the Far East Federal District and Zabaikalsky Region.
The firm is part of Rosneft.
