Eastern Shipyard’ $60m Vietnamese contract posted

Eastern Shipyard has started construction of two military patrol ships in Vladivostok under a $60m+ Vietnamese contract, Primorsky regional officials announced today.

Set up in 1952 to manufacture ships for the USSR’s Pacific Fleet, Eastern Shipyard reportedly has a history of exporting its products to eight foreign countries.
