GE to moves into Kaluga with $25m plant

American industrial giant General Electric (GE) plans to build a $25m plant producing and maintaining spare parts for electric turbines in Kaluzhsky region, Reuters reported earlier today.

Under plans, the plant is to be built on the premises of the Rosva industrial park in the suburbs of Kaluga.

The plant's projected capacity is yet to be specified.

Under the project timeframes the plant is scheduled to be put into commission in the first quarter of 2011.
