Canada's Magna confirms $26m Kaluzhsky plant plans

Canadadian auto component manufacturer Magna is to build a $26m auto component plant in Kaluzhsky region, it was reported today.

Under plans, the plant would supply auto components to the nearby Volkswagen plant in the same region.

The new plant would provide 150 jobs, according to reports.

Under the project timeframes the plant is scheduled to be put into commission at the end of 2010.
