John Deere to build an $80m production center in Kaluga region

US machinery manufacturer John Deere is to invest $80m building a complex to produce agricultural machinery in Kaluga region, regional officials report.

The omplex, to be built on a 40-hectare site in Vorsino industrial park in the regions Borovsky district, is reportedly to create 100 jobs.

Under plans, the complex is to have warehouses for machinery parts, training center and show-room, as well as production facilities.

The complex is scheduled to be put into commission in 2010.
