Moscow-based engineering equipment manufacturer Tekhnoservis has announced $6m plans to set up an assembling manufacture to produce special machinery in the town of Dzerzhinsk in Nizhny Novgorod region.
The company's CEO Alexander Belokopytov said the plant's projected annual capacity is 100 units of timber felling equipment and 150 units of mining equipment.
Construction is scheduled to last five years, with the plant to reach the projected capacity after one year of operation, Mr. Belokopytov said.
Mr. Belokopytov mentioned the RF Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Defense among consumers of the plant's machines.
