Perm JV invests $151m in materials plant

Perms construction material manufacturer Urals Nerudno-Stroitelnaya Komapniya and a local silicate panel plant are joining forces to invest $151m in a complex to consist of four plants producing different types of construction materials, regional officials report.

The projected aggregate capacity of the four plants are 120,000 tons of lime, 300,000 cubic meters of porous concrete, 60 million silicate bricks, and one million tons of cement.

Construction is scheduled to begin in 2009 and last two years.
