Silikatstroy re-equipped to churn out more silicate products

Dzerzhinsk-based construction materials manufacturer Silikatstroy, Nizhny Novgorod Region, has launched a new $1.6m silicate production line, sources in the regional government report.

Germanys mechanical engineering company Lasco has supplied equipment for the new line.

The capacity of a KSP-801-1 hydraulic press, which is part of the system, is 4,200 bricks per hour.

In addition to bricks the press is also capable of producing silicate wall blocks of various dimensions and forms.
