GAZ's Maxus model receives $19.7m modifications

During 2007 the GAZ automobile company devoted a total of $19.7m towards toucing up the Maxus car model being produced by LDV in Birmingham, UK.

The Maxus is being exhibited at a car show in Birmingham 15-17 April. There are 9 models being displayed at present and of these 5 were subjected to the latest modfications.

In 2007 the GAZ-owned LDV plant increased sales by 30% whilst broadening UK sales by 25%.

The plans for the current year involve increasing sales by 1.5 times, including to achieve over 5,000 more export sales.
