Russia to make mini power stations and high-tech medical equipment in Siberia

Rostekhnologii, a large government-owned corporation, is expected to launch in the Irkutsk region, In Siberia, a number of new production lines to manufacture mini power stations and high-tech medical equipment, Russian energy sector portal Rusenergetics.ru reported.
A recent agreement, reached between the company and the region, is aimed at building a long-term strategic partnership in the development, manufacture and exports of high technology products.
According to Rostekhnologii, a number of the firm’s assets will join in the development of these projects, including RT-Biotechprom, Oboronprom, and Russian Electronics.
The key focus in pushing the new partnership will be the commercialization of LED-based energy-saving solutions, the source emphasized.
