Italy’s Gestamp to build $71m car parts plant in Alabuga SEZ

Italian company Gestamp Automocion intends to invest $43-$71m plant to produce auto components in the Republic of Tatarstan, news agency RIA Novosti reports.
The complex is reportedly to be located at the Alabuga special economic zone (SEZ).
Under plans, the plant is to produce truck frames and chassis for auto JVs Sollers and Ford.
The plant is scheduled to be built within two years.
