The Renault-Nissan-AvtoVAZ international car-making alliance is considering setting up vehicle-assembling site in the Primorsky region, Renault said.
Several regional cities are being reportedly considered as a possible site, including Nakhodka, Ussuriisk and Artem.
It was reported earlier that Renault was planning large-scale production localization in Russia. According to RIA Novosti, Russian auto components now account for 54% of the alliance’s total output.
