Renault-Nissan-AvtoVAZ eyes Primorsky

The Renault-Nissan-AvtoVAZ international car-making alliance is considering setting up vehicle-assembling site in the Primorsky region, Renault said.

Several regional cities are being reportedly considered as a possible site, including Nakhodka, Ussuriisk and Artem.

It was reported earlier that Renault was planning large-scale production localization in Russia. According to RIA Novosti, Russian auto components now account for 54% of the alliances total output.
