EBRD to loan $440m to Peugeot-Citroen-Mitsubishi

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development might loan $440m to auto alliance Peugeot-Citroen-Mitsubishi, the bank reports.

The loan terms have yet to be disclosed.

Under plans, the funds are to be invested into development of an auto plant in Kaluga. Total investment into the project is estimated at $687m.

The auto alliance Peugeot-Citroen-Mitsubishi opened the auto plant in Kaluga, with projected annual capacity of 125,000 cars in April 2010 (see Marchmont news of April 23, 2010).
