Swiss Forbo launches $4.85m floors plant in Kaluga region

Swiss company Forbo has put into commission a $4.85m plant to produce floor coatings in Kaluga region, REGNUM News reports.

The plant is reportedly located in the village of Tovarkovo in Dzerzhinsk district.

There are 80 workers currently employed at the plant, and the plant is to create 50 new jobs in the future, the news agency said.

The plants projected annual capacity is 2 million square meters of ecologically friendly floor coatings for offices and housing.

The plant is scheduled to reach its projected capacity in 2012.
