Peugeot-Citroen-Mitsubishi launches $325m plant in Kaluga

Auto makers alliance Peugeot-Citroen-Mitsubishi has officially launched a $625m auto plant in Kaluga, news agency RIA Novosti reports.

Under plans, in 2010 the plant is to make 25,000 cars, while its projected annual capacity is 125,000 cars.

The plant is reportedly to assemble five car models – Peugeot 308, Peugeot 4007, Citroen C4, Citoren C-Crosser, Mitsubishi Outlander XL.

The plant was launched in test mode in March.
