1 Feb '10
Tatarstan-based auto maker Sollers has designed for assembling at its Far East factory a new 4WD Fiat Ducato version with higher cross-country capacity, the firm said.

Investment in the project has yet to be announced.

Car sets and spare parts will be reportedly shipped to the Vladivostok-based Sollers factory beginning mid-2010.

The new model will hit Primorsky regional dealerships in the second half of the year, Sollers said.

Sollers launched its Vladivostok car production on December 29, 2009. The projected Phase 1 capacity is 15,000 SsangYong SUVs, Isuzu trucks and Fiat Ducato vans a year, the company specified.
