Kirov developer Industriya, in cooperation with Chinese firms VIEK Tochma and Shuan Ya Shan, intend to invest a total of $100m building a brick plant and energy saving lamps factory in Kirov region, Interfax reports.
Investment into the brick plant is estimated at $60m, and the lamp factory is to cost about $40m.
The brick facility’s projected annual capacity is 60 million bricks, the lamp factory is to annually produce 1 million lamps.
Under plans, the project is to be financed by the Chinese companies against guarantees by Russian banks, such as VTB, VEB, Gazprombank and Sberbank. The Chinese firms are also to be main contractors for the projects.
Under the project, after the plants are built and put into commission, he Russian guarantor bank is to estimate the ready business and pay off to Chinese parties. The plants owner is in its turn to repay to the guarantor bank within 5-7 years.
