Russian-French Lu BAT+ is to build $45m brick plant in Bashkiria

Russian-French JV Lu BAT+ intends to invest $45m building a plant to produce ceramic bricks in the Republic of Bashkiria, regional officials report.

The plant is reportedly to be located in the regions Tuymazy district, 180 kilometers to the North of Ufa.

The plants projected annual capacity is 60 million bricks.

Construction started in March 2010, further timeframes for the project have yet to be announced.
