VIZ-Steel to invest $53m in modernization in 2011

Ekaterinburg-based steel plant VIZ-Steel has announced plans to invest about $53m in its technical re-equipment in 2011, up 2.3 times on 2010.

Under plans, specifically, the funds are to be used to launch production of new products high permeability steel with annual capacity of 70,000 tons.

VIZ-Steel is a part of NLMK group.
