VIZ-Steel to invest $53m in modernization in 2011

Ekaterinburg-based steel plant VIZ-Steel has announced plans to invest about $53m in its technical re-equipment in 2011, up 2.3 times on 2010.

Under plans, specifically, the funds are to be used to launch production of new products – high permeability steel with annual capacity of 70,000 tons.

VIZ-Steel is a part of NLMK group.
