Philip Morris Kuban’s 2008 dividends top $23m

Krasnodar tobacco plant Philip Morris Kuban has announced plans to pay $7.8m in 2008 dividends.

Earlier the company paid its shareholders $15.4m in interim dividends for nine months of 2008 (see Marchmont news of January 11, 2009).

The firm’s 2007 dividend payout totaled $50m, up 32% on total 2008 dividends.

The dividends are due to be repaid within 60 days.

Philip Morris Kuban is a part of global group Philip Morris International.
