INPROM to cast $23.6m for upgrades

Steel product trader INPROM, town of Taganrog, Rostov Region, will put around $23.6m in modernization and reconstruction of its production assets, the firm reported earlier Thursday.

Deputy CEO Alexander Larionov said to that end the company had already invested about $33.9m since 2001.

The company plans to increase its share of processed steel in total sales from 7% in 2007 to 35% by 2014.
