Led to build $7m brewery in Altay region

Barnaul-based beer manufacturer Led has announced $7m plans to build a brewery in Altay region.

The plant is reportedly to be built in the village of Borvikha in the region’s Pervomaysky district.

The plant’s projected annual capacity is 1 million deciliters.

Construction is scheduled to start in Fall 2009, with the plant to be put into commission in Summer 2010.
