Rosatom to invest $180m in its Electrochemical Factory in 2011

State corporation Rosatom intends to invest a total of $180m in development of production facilities of its uranium enrichment factory Electrochemical Factory, based in Zelenogorsk, Krasnoyarsk region, in 2011, the head of Rosatom Sergey Kirienko reports.

As a result of investment, the factory’s annual capacities are expected to grow from 8.7 million separative work units (SWU) to 15 million SWU.
