NEC to build $5m waste sorting landfill in Khakassia

Moscow-based National Ecology Company (NEC) intends to invest $5.1m building a solid waste landfill in the Republic of Khakassia, news agency Khakassia Inform reports.

The landfill with a waste sorting plant is reportedly to be built near the existing landfill in the town of Chernogorsk.

Under plans, the new complex is to create 120 local jobs.

Further project parameters, including its timeframes, have yet to be disclosed.
