Kemerovo region eyes $10m Komatsu Technical Support Center

Japanese construction and mining equipment manufacturer Komatsu has announced plans to build a $10m Komatsu Technical Support Center in Kemerovo region, Interfax reports.

The center, located near the town of Polysayevo, is reportedly to carry out repairs and servicing of Komatsu machinery, used by Siberian companies.

Under the project, the company is to build a 6,000-square-meter building, kitted out with repairs workshop, warehouses and office space.

Construction has started earlier this month. The Center is scheduled to be completed in July 2010.
