National Fish Resources to invest $280m in refrigerator terminals

Federally owned company National Fish Resources (NFR) has announced $280m plans to build fish storage refrigerator terminals throughout Russia.

The project is reportedly to be 90% financed with a budget loan, to be taken out at 15% interest.

Under plans, the company is to build 19 terminals in 17 cities, including Moscow, St. Petersburg, Saratov, Vladisvostok (Primorsky region), Murmansk, Ekaterinburg, Moscow region, Belgorod, Sakhalin, Novosibirsk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (Kamchatka region), Pionersk (Kaliningrad region), Sochi, Makhachkala (Republic of Dagestan), Kaliningrad, Nakhodka (Primorsky region) and Primorsk-Akhtarsk (Krasnodar region).

The 19 terminals are to have total capacity of 140,000 tons of fish.

The project is scheduled to be carried out within the next three years.
