KamAZ to launch truck-assembling complex in Khabarovsk

Republic of Tatarstan truck giant KamAZ has announced plans to launch a truck-assembling complex in Khabarovsk.

Investment in the project has yet to be disclosed.

The project is reportedly to be carried out by a specially set up firm KamAZ-Vostok.

The complex is to be located at premises of the companys Khabarovsk auto center, the firm said.

The complexs projected annual capacity is 200-250 assembled trucks.

Production is scheduled to be launched by the end of 2010.
