Yokohama’s $330m roll into Lipetsk SEZ

Japan tire manufacturer Yokohama is to invest over $330m building a plant to produce tires in Lipetsk special economic zone (SEZ), new agency RIA Novosti reports.

The company has been registered as the SEZ resident.

The plant, with projected annual capacity of 3.4 million tires, is to create over 2 000 jobs.

The plant is scheduled to be put into commission in April 2011.
