Kamchatka has adopted a three-year small and medium-sized business development program, regional officials announced today.
The program cost is a reported $32.3m, including $11.7m from federal coffers.
The program stipulates material, information and consulting support of regional SMEs, including assistance in exhibition activity, the officials said. It also reportedly calls for SME personnel training and retraining, as well as targeted subsidies for tourism infrastructure development.
There are 1,500 small businesses and 12,000 individual entrepreneurs registered in Kamchatka as of now.
