Gefestís $93.8m Vladivostok airport insurance aired

Gefest has announced a $93.8m insurance policy for a Vladivostok airport reconstruction project, the firm said today.

The upgrade project reportedly aims at repairing and lengthening the runway and rebuild taxiways.

The upgrade is to be completed in the first half of 2010, Gefest said.

Insurance firm Gefest was set up in 1993. It has the experience of insuring runway upgrades at Russiaís largest airports Sheremetyevo-2 ($234m), Domodedovo ($119m) and Pulkovo ($109m).
