Novosibirsky in $70m plans for new greenhouse complex

Novosibirsk-based food maker Novosibirsky has announced $69.9m plans to build a new 25-hectare greenhouse complex.

The project is expected to be carried out between 2008 and 2013.

The pay-back period is 5.5 years.

The firm told Marchmont today it was investing its own funds into the move.

The greenhouses are to be built using technology from Dutch firm Meyer-Veg, whoses specliasts will design and supervice the installation.
