Group of agribusinesses Yug-Zerno, city of Taganrog, Rostov Region, has submitted to the Federal Antimonopoly Service an application for the purchase of a 60.4-percent stake in Maximovskoe Grain Collecting Company, Saratov Region, the group reported today.
The deal’s details have not been disclosed but experts estimate its value is around $2.5m.
The company wants to sell grain from Saratov Region, where it has a rep office, in the domestic market.
According to analysts, the grain operator has made a logical step in an effort to reinforce its positions in the Russian market.
