Five Chinese firms, five factories, for $500m

Five Chinese investors are looking to construct five new factories in the Altay Territory for $500m, Vyacheslav Bayndin of Altay-Yarn told Interfax. Altay-Yarn would collaborate with the firms and receive 51% shares next to the 49% allocated to the Chinese investors.

Ven Fang, Huada, Haynchzoy, Don Chan and Huaksia are the 5 firms who have expressed interest in new plants.

They would build a cement works (1m tons/year); a construction equipment factory (70-100 units/year); a sandwich-panel works (2,000 sq.m.); red facing brick factory (30m bricks per year) and a rubber plant (undefined capacity).
