Social business incubator operates in Nizhny Novgorod

20 Apr '18
A special business incubator opened earlier this spring in the Nizhny Novgorod region. According to Acting Vice Governor of the NN region Evgeny Lyulin, the incubator will offer a full cycle of social project support from the ground up and until fruition.

The following services are being offered as part of the incubator program:

- Consultations (legal, bookkeeping, admin, expertise and promotion); special attention should be paid to the training of not-for-profits as providers of socially valuable services;

- Co-working space for entrepreneurs;

- Social partnership center and self-employment, including a venue for professional interaction for all stakeholders, as well as the setup of pilot production sites and technologies for the physically/mentally impaired.

- Acceleration, including training and a series of investment pitches.

The Nizhny Novgorod region hopes that by the end of 2018 the local residents will be able to receive as much as 10% of the social services required from incubator-trained NGOs.
