START-UP, an SME helper

Ekaterinburg will host on November 11, 2011 the region’s annual SME forum, START-UP-2011.
Over the past few years START-UP has evolved as one of the area’s largest events bringing together entrepreneurs and enabling effective networking and awareness-raising for young business owners within just one day.
As before, this time START-UP is also offering participants an extensive networking session and a range of training events to be conducted by experts in business planning, management, law and marketing.
There is a special showroom planned for entities that provide services to small and medium-sized businesses. Banks, insurers and telecoms will be able to present themselves there. As Yevgeny Pavlov, vice-president of SKB-Bank, explained, “We have attended the forum for three years now, and we can see that preliminary applications for loans from SMEs have doubled over the period as a result. START-UP also helps us promote our new products.”
The START-UP-2011 forum will be held on November 11, 2011 at the Uralochka Sports Palace.
