Primorsky regions $233m healthcare improvement plan

A total of $233m is to be spent to finance healthcare modernization program to run over 2010-2012 in Primorsky region, regional officials report.

Under plans, $100m is to be spent on capital repairs and purchase of medical equipment.

Over $83m is to be used to introduce medical service standards and increase medical aid availability, the officials said.

Another $10m is reportedly to be invested into development of information systems.
