Komis $18.8m in bad loans reported as of May 1

Court bailiffs in the Republic of Komi report $18.8m worth of bad loans issued as of May 1, 2009.

Of the amount, individual debt amounts to $12.5m while businesses owe more than $6m, the bailiffs say.

As part of debt collection efforts the Komi Regional Bailiff Service has reportedly ordered 174 seizures of debtors property worth a total of $640,625.
