Russo-British oil company TNK-BP will hold on January 26 the first in a series of 2010 auctions to wholesale its petroleum products through the St. Petersburg International Commodity Exchange, the firm said.
The company reportedly plans to sell 41,040 tons of products during 29 mini-sessions.
Last year TNK-BP sold through the exchange more than 280,000 tons of petroleum products, the announcement said.
Set up in 2003, TNK-BP is now on the Top-10 list of private oil companies around the world. It produced 70 million tons of crude in 2009.
