Jewish Autonomous Region’s foreign trade turnover in H1 2020 was $153.9m, up 2.2 times on the same period last year, news agency REGNUM reports.
Specifically, imports reportedly totaled $144.6m, up 2.4 times, while exports came in at $9.3m, down 1.1 times.
The region reportedly imported shoes, clothing, groceries, mechanic devices, metals. It mostly exported wood and timber materials. Among other exported goods were ferrous metals, fish and nemalite ore.
The region’s most active trading partners are China, Republic of Korea, Tadzhikistan, Turkey, the Ukraine, Japan and Turkmenistan.
