Zarya to build $3.2m fish complex in NN

Nizhny Novgorod firm Zarya has announced $3.2m plans to build a fish breeding complex in Nizhny Novgorod region.

The complex is reportedly to be located in Shuvalovsky indusrtrial zone in Nizhny Novgorod city.

Under plans, the complex is to breed sterlet and bester, which is a hybrid of a great sturgeon and starlet, with a baby fish to be purchased in Astrakhan.

The complexs projected annual capacity is 15 tons of fishes.

The facility is scheduled to be put into commission in 2010.
