Doronichi to build $64m milk plant in Kirov region

Kirov agricultural company Doronichi has announced plans to invest about $64m building a milk-processing plant in Kirov region.

The project is reportedly to be 75% financed with loans from Rosselkhozbank and Gazprombank.

The plant is to be located in the village of Strizhki in the regions Orichevsky district, the firm said.

The plants projected milk-processing capacity is 700 tons of milk daily, which is enough to produce up to 50 tons of cheeses and 160 tons of traditional dairy products.

The plant is scheduled to be put into commission in October 2011 and reach its projected annual capacity in October 2013.
