Specialists of Omsk-based production company Irtysh have built a complex of chicken-breeding incubators, equipped with USB-ports that can connect the complex to a computer to translate information on temperature and humidity inside the incubator via Internet, news agency reports citing authorities in Omsk region.
“The renewed model allows to regulate humidity in the incubator and set parameters needed by a specific poultry breeder. The complex also has ventilation system, improved design and the USB-port to connect the incubator with a computer. This will allow to receive information on the incubator’s operations while being outside the firm,” the regional officials said.
The specialists are reportedly currently developing a software for the Omsk incubator that would enable to manage all the complex parameters and change them distantly. The modified incubator IFH-500 is to be demonstrated at the exhibition AgroOmsk-2011 that is scheduled to start working on July 27, 2011.
The Omsk production alliance Irtysh was founded at premises of the Omsk Television Plant – one of the largest producers of television and radiotechnical equipment from the Urals to the Far East. The plant was found4ed in 1942 and at the time was named “Shtampovschik”. During the war the plant produced shells and chains for air guns. After the war it started making civil products, such as parts for agricultural machines and gas stoves, medical equipment, furniture for public canteens, toys and others. The plant currently specializes in production of special communication devices for force agencies, aerodrome radio stations, television equipment and baking and confectionery machines.
