BEZRK-Belgrankorm to build $33m poultry complex in Belgorod region

Agricultural holding BEZRK-Belgrankorm has announced plans to invest over $33m building a complex to slaughter and process poultry in Belgorod region.

The project is reportedly to be 80% financed with a loan from Sberbank.

The complex, with projected capacity of 12,000 heads per day, is to be located in the region’s Rakityansky district, the firm said.

Construction is scheduled to start in late November 2010, with the complex to be launched in summer 2011.
