Silmash to supply equipment for Adler power station

Power machinery building company Silovye Mashiny (Silmash, Power Machines), together with energy firm TEK Mosenergo, has been announced the winner of an open tender for a contract to supply energy equipment for Adler TES power station in Sochi, Krasnodar region, news agency RIA Novosti reports.

The tender was reportedly held by energy company Mezhregion-Energostroy.

The contract price has yet to be disclosed.

Under the contract, Silmash is to supply two 60 MW steam turbines, produced by subsidiary Kaluga Turbine Plant, and two turbine generators, manufactured by subsidiary firm Elektrosila.

All the equipment is to be supplied in Q1 2011, with the power station to be put into commission in 2012.
