Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has imposed two fines worth a total of $4.5m on Caucasus region gas supplier Kavkazregiongaz’s office in the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria for antimonopoly law violation, FAS reports.
The company was reportedly fined for $3.8m following the complaint, filed by Boom-Bank, claiming that the gas supplier was imposing disadvantageous conditions in gas supply contracts.
Kavkazregiongaz was also charged a $706,600 fine for using increased gas consumer tariffs towards utilities firm Prokhladny.
