EBRD to loan to $51m on water supply in Surgut

European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has announced plans to loan up to $51m to finance water supply projects in newly built residential complexes in the city of Surgut, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District.

The funds are reportedly to be loaned for ten years, the interest rate has yet to be disclosed.

Under plans, the funds are to be spent to build water pipelines, collectors and pumping station.

The water facilities are needed for construction of a new 700,000-square-meter economy-class residential complex in Surgut for 23,000 residents by 2015.
