Rosatomís floating nuclear plans posted

State-run nuclear energy corporation Rosatom and the Yakutia government have signed an agreement on construction of four buoyant nuclear power stations in the region, news agency REGNUM reported today.

An investment amount and the stationsí technical characteristics have yet to be announced.

Rosatom reportedly has plans for a total of 10 such stations for Russiaís Extreme North. The first test station will be built by May 2010, the report says.
